PANDORA is joining the rest of the world to mark the celebration of International Women's Day to honour the strength, courage and beauty of all things woman.
Recognising women for their achievements
On 8 March, PANDORA is joining the rest of the world to mark the celebration of International Women's Day, honouring the strength, courage and beauty of all things feminine. The first International Women's Day was launched well over a century ago, and while it has grown to become a global day to pay homage to female strength and achievement, we also see it as a beautiful day to show our support and love for equality of all kinds.
Pride in Purple
Celebrate International Women's Day in prideful purple to symbolise justice and dignity. Purple has always been historically associated with efforts to achieve gender equality. International Women’s Day adopted it from the colours of the Women’s Social and Political Union – the organisation that led Britain’s women’s suffrage movement in the early 20th century. Show the world where you stand and the feminine pride you feel by donning the purple on 8 March.
The future is female
We say the future is female as a reminder to love yourself and remember that every woman has a voice. Equality starts with love and being loved, and if you believe in a future that is female, then that future can start right now.
